Peppy senior girl with playful energy, affectionate nature, and excellent manners around other dogs.

Ginger is a nine-year-old German Shepherd mix who still moves with plenty of energy. Her foster learned she's house trained, knows basic commands, and gets along with other dogs—she was playful and polite in playgroups. Shelter staff say she's vocal with excitement but settles well on walks, and describe her as affectionate and silly. Ginger needs a secure yard and a home without small dogs.

Meet Ginger in person before you decide. The shelter staff know Ginger best.
