A reserved husky who seeks affection from people and gets along best with calm, familiar dogs.

Ameoba is a five-year-old husky who came in as a stray. Shelter staff saw her relax during handling and seek affection, though she was hesitant in new spaces and needed coaxing. She appeared uncomfortable with direct greetings from other dogs at first but gradually grew calmer and more social. She'd benefit from a calm home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace.

Meet Ameoba in person before you decide. The shelter staff know Ameoba best.
